There should be more Weir vids! That was such a lovely vid of Weir. The lyrics were so appropriate for Weir. Especially "when everything is crashing down"!

I loved the end with all her smiles, then her expression as she leaves Atlantis with her colleagues appearing at her side. Great vid!

I am a Dr Who fan (well the new lot of series anyway before that not so much) Unfortunately though its on at a really bad time for me in Aust so I have basically haven't seen any of it :( One of these days however I'm going to get my hands on it.

Thanks for making this awesome Weir tribute vid. Very dynamic. Anthemic, even, which is a great way to showcase a character that's so "thinky" and doesn't get enough credit for her role on Atlantis. (Must be pretty obvious I love this character too!) I'll rec this on my LJ.

YAY! I finally know your real name & it starts with Shar - like mine! Go Go Mighty Shar-eses!!! ;) lol ;)

Anyhoo, you did a most illustriously wonderous & illuminating job on this here vid, dude! :) Bur then again ALL of your vids are spectacularly awesome! ;) so, why should this one be anything different. my fave parts of it: your mad awesome editing skillz, your adherence to the lyrics, & your literal clip choices that just TOTALLY FIT...

...like the one at the beginning, with the pairing of "She never slows down" with the part in no man's land (or was it allies?) where she totally blows by an official on her way to the Gate (one who looked like he was waiting for her to sign something right before she left for Earth), not even half-acknowledging her prescence. lol;) i LIKED that. A lot. ;) & having the "shadow" in the song be John from The Real World was a clever move too. :) i also LOVED the quick cuts & bisected/twofer shots that covered the "pain/drown" parts (1:45-1:50 & 2:33-2:37) & all her serious/action/angsty faces just after both sets. AND I also really dug the way you ended to, with Lizzie getting "face-time" with all the other main characters too (& only you could make their one-looks both show off their signature traits & show off the fact that, as a leader, Liz recalls them all on a truly individual basis)...

McKay as being giddy with science, Carson as being tender-hearted with all of his patients, Teyla being happy with her place among the earthers finally, Lorne with being like a happy-go-lucky school kid, Zelenka with being wistful (& possibly acting almost like a mirror image of herself?), Ronon still being a bit wary yet trying to blend in somwhat, Shep being dorky & cute (lol) & reassuring all in the same stead...AND finally Atlantis City herself as being somehow sad to see her go...

BUT - yeah - YOU ROCK!!! :)

And JEBUS, WOMAN! I swear! ;) You always seem to make me fall in love with characters that I don't even like at first. And yet after seeing your newest vid (if it features them), i'll all up on their band wagon begging for morefrom them!!! (I'm thinking of Rodney vs. your Rodney vids mostly, but Liz kinda fits into that category too, just to a lesser extent (cuz i usually like her only in conjunction with ronon or sheppard & never by herself).

And in case I haven't already made this apparent enough. You & your bloody awesome & utterly coolisimo vid have made a convert out of me in more ways than one! YAY!!! :)

Ooohhh how long. Um well I started a month ago, but I have been working on a few others at the same time on and off. Just this one though, maybe 2 weeks. Most of it was done in bout half of that, but theres all fiddly bits I had to try to get right, add effects etc.

This is an absolutely gorgeous vid. I'm blown away.

How do you do it??? This vid was amazing.....the music was perfectly timed to the scenes, the different cuts were well done and the fast cuts at the end with Liz being blown away and then slipping effortlesly to Shep carrying her were just........*speechless* Also, i love the overlay with the other scenes (shep being fed on, carson, the other characters etc) You really NEED to use this talent in a job or...something.....you're just so good at making these vids
